Halls Recent Planning Approvals In Shropshire, Staffordshire & Powys

Commercial Unit Approval in Stafford

Planning for a new storage and distribution unit has been approved in Stafford. Due to expansion our client’s tenant required further space for their successful reinforced concrete business.

Alongside the submission and management of the planning application, Halls planning consultants were able to advise on the siting, parking and materials, which ensured a smooth route through the planning system and approval for the development of the Class B8 unit.

Employment Land Outline Planning Permission in Shropshire

Outline planning consent with access approved has been secured on land in Ellesmere, Shropshire.

The site, allocated within the Shropshire Local Plan, being greenfield had a number of matters concerning ecology and required the formation of a new access. Working alongside ecology professionals Halls planning department was able to utilise Natural England’s District Licencing scheme to ensure that development on this site could be achieved whilst providing the appropriate environmental outcomes.

Leisure Development Expansion in Powys

Halls planning team has secured full planning permission for a further five Hobbit Homes at our client’s successful leisure facility in Powys. Due to the ongoing success, and operating at capacity, this planning approval allows the expansion of this successful business in Powys.

Being aware of the current restrictions within the River Wye Special Area of Conservation (SAC) Halls was able to submit an application, which met both the clients’ aspirations and the relevant criteria for development within the SAC.

There are an increasing number of areas, which are being placed within Special Areas of Conservation, including The Clun SAC. Halls continues to keep up to date on matters around the SAC designations and assist our clients in making the required commercial planning decisions.
